A lot of alignment research is about control, making AI follow instructions, locking in human preferences and values. I'm studying coevolution: what happens as humans and AI change together. Building novel interfaces for synthetic data generation, curation, and character training on the Loria platform.

My job was to keep Replicate weird. I organized the events that made the hackspace a gathering point for open-source AI, including the WorldSim event, the demo that kicked off the year of simulative AI. Wrote the newsletter, ran the Twitter, shaped how the company talked about itself, and doubled the growth rate.

Freelance AI work. I was building with language models and image generation before most people knew what those were, and writing about what it all meant.
