We are entering an age of gods and monsters.
The 2010s were the age of the meme. Now, memetic technologies are mature; things will start to develop in them: cults, religions, alternate realities.
And as the AI and biotech explosions change the boundaries of life and humanity, we will start to become truly transhuman. Every country wants to have the first superhero. There’s a Nash equilibrium. I can’t see how it would be stopped.
It seems bad to live in this world. But who can stop it?
