Okay so basically the Masons are mad at the Cousins because of what the Cousins did when they were in power so now the Masons are driving out any hint of Cousin thought. But they decided to attack the Utopians which is a mistake because the Utopians have the most power and money and they have the Alien. And the Masons are actually rocking a historically low favorability rating so they really need the Alien otherwise they’re doomed. The Cousin-Mitsubishi alliance is currently sidelined unless they can figure out a way to use nimby zoning laws to stop Alien development
